Varadero
Varadero peninsula is 140 km east of Havana in Matanzas province and is first and foremost a beach paradise waiting to pamper vacationers with 20 km of the ocean’s sun, fine white sand, and turquoise/blue waters. Almost all hotels offer all-inclusive packages only, including water sports like paddle boats, catamaran sails, and wind surfing; motorized sports such as jet skiing, or parasailing are at an additional charge. There are also hotels on the list which offer only breakfast, or half-board rooms. Ideal for a beach vacation, Varadero has less to offer to the culturally inquisitive, however that can be compensated for with daytrips to other cities and regions.

Children: Mini Club for children ages 4-12, children’s activities and entertainment programs. English and German speaking personnel. The hotel has a separate children’s pool
