The 25 km stretch of the island, along with the Yacht harbour Marina Cayo Largo, invites to stroll on very fine and white sand at the secluded Playa Sirena, Playa Paraiso and Playa Blanca or hike under the palm trees at Playa Los Cocos with a view of the turquoise colored sea. 19.11. Day excursion to the Valley of Vinales!
After breakast in the hotel, the excursion to Pinar del Rio, the western part of the island, will commence. Experts claim that this area and soil is the best the earth has to offer for growing tobacco. This tobacco, used to manufacture the finest cigars, is being grown and harvested in the plantains of this region and will leave the cigar factory as a product for connoseurs - from start to finish an all hand made product! Visit of the city of Pinar del Rio, visit of a cigar factory and a cottage, where the tobacco will dry until further production. Visit of the outlook Mirador de Vinales, of where you have a stunning view unto the valley. Lunch admist the valley. Optional: Visit of the cave of "Cueva del Indio" where visitors will be guided back to light by boat on a little stream, that runs through the caverns. Late afternoon return to Havana. Night stay in our "Marathon Hotel".
20.11. Varadero - Relaxation and beach fun in Varadero!
Transfer to Varadero, with more than 20 km of white powder shell sand and colours of the sea like straight out of the picture book. Either if you like to relax at the beach, swim or practicing watersports, if want to cruise the peninsula of Varadero, take trips to nearby cities or play golf at the - from Canadian architect Les Furber designed - golf course with breathtaking views or parachute from high above, almost everything is possible!
