High Season

As in the whole of the Caribbean, the months from November to April are the preferred time for travellers from abroad. We advise for early booking to guarantee to realize your travel plans.

Low Season

The season from May to October still is a pleasant experience and allow for round trips on the whole island. May or June can have some rainy days and July to August can be hot.

Gastronomy

Hotels provide the whole service, up to the All Inclusive at Beach Resorts. In the Casas Particulares mostly breakfast is offered, sometimes lunch and dinner. Apartments and Villas offer individual plans, with or without meals and cooking service.

Royal Service

Guests who wish to be pampered can select from a range of 5-star hotels in a few cities or at beach resorts throughout the island. Be surprised by some private casas, apartments or villas who offer their guests royal treatment.

Children

As a Caribbean country, children are very welcome in Cuba and are being treated as little princes and princesses. If you travel with infants, make sure to bring along certain food products if necessary. Hotels offer reductions for children up to 12 years of age.

Groups

It is not only recommendable but absolutely necessary for groups to book in advance, especially during high season. From May into the October allows for more freedom of short term planning. Take into account that casas particulares mostly have only 1-5 rooms available.
